Edmonton’s only indoor skate park! House of Wheels offers a temperature controlled sport riding facility to provide you with comfortable access to BMX, scooter, inline, and skateboard ramps all year round. Owner and Operations Manager, Bevan Purnell, got tired of his skating season being cut short by long Edmonton winters, and mucky springs. And after a two year stint in Africa with year round appropriate climate, he knew something had to be done back home. So, he was inspired to provide that for not only himself, but for everyone else who was also passionate about the extreme sport. A self-proclaimed skate park graveyard, HoW ‘adopts’ unloved ramps from facilities around the world to keep things exciting and maintain that skate park grunge atmosphere. Rentals are also available in case you forgot your board or want to try something new - scooters are really in right now. They also home Edmonton’s only airbag drop to help you master landing those tricks without the fear of falling to the concrete beneath you (and without the fear of foam pits nastiness). Additionally, HoW employs professional riders of their own to “ooh” and “awe” at while they defeat gravity and land gnarly tricks, and maybe inspire you to try (safely) some of your own. HoW also provides lessons, camps, competitions, and even demos, so you can become a pro in no time as well!
